I’m basically obsessed with my new work bag. Kate Spade’s fox line from last year will forever be one of my favourites. The tote is huge beyond belief- it really is one of those bags that holds too much. Like, when it is completely full it probably weighs nearly as much as I do. But regardless, I love it. Also, it matches the mushrooms growing in my backyard, not just my fox flats from last autumn.
So after what seems like the world’s largest blogging hiatus, I think I am ready to come back. I’ve spent the Summer travelling, dancing, reading and working on a sunburn- which I now have nothing to show for. I believe that I mentioned before, I was off to Italy for a couple of weeks in the middle of the summer. Now that I am rid of all jet lag and mildly prepped for the year to come, I think that I better get back into the blogosphere regardless of how hard it is, and share some of my adventures with you. Really they are too good not to share with the world.
I had such an amazing time in Italy this past summer and so many pictures and OOTD to post, I don’t even know where to start. So instead of diving into an array of cut off denim and dresses to boot, let’s take a moment to enjoy the beauty in another thing we all have in common: love of food. Have you ever met a person who doesn’t like Italian food? No. Probably not because that person doesn’t exist. And if they are telling you they don’t, well then they are a liar. Everyone loves Italian food and rightfully so. I had weeks upon weeks of meals where after my first bite, I literally exclaimed “oh wow!” out loud. I even took a cooking class.
I also made a huge discovery about myself while overseas: I love lemon gelato.
Hopefully you have some munchies nearby because even looking at these pictures are making me feel hungry again. Cheers!
I’m basically crazy about this print from Show Me Your Mumu. I wish I was smart enough to order it in every design and cut when I had the chance. Oh well, for now it will just remain to be one of my favourite tunics. Just as perfect when paired with a good pair of cut offs as it is with a little distressed denim.
Hope everyone is having a great start to their week. It has been very wet and chilly up here the last couple days but that is not stopping me from playing some ball outside and enjoying the fact that it is no longer frigid and blowing snow outside.
