Last spring on the blog you may have noticed me wearing a baseball jersey here and there or talking about going to a game, or playing in the sunshine. The truth is, I love baseball. I grew up playing ball and still love nothing more than swinging a bat or wearing a glove. Baseball is a terrific sport. So, last summer whilst in Italy, it was only natural for me to bring along a jersey or two.
I admit, cut off denim, sneakers and a Blue Jays jersey is not very European. I hardly saw any athleisure style on my holiday- understandable as it is a very North American thing to do. I am not sure if it is even street style worthy. In fact, we could say this is my own crazy version of dressing like a tourist. Truly I was a tourist. But regardless, I was wanting nothing more, a day or two, to battle the heat in my Jays jersey. I figured, paired with the most popular sneakers on the planet right now and my Gucci Soho crossbody, anything else is fair game.
