Wooden wedges are absolutely everywhere this season, I think it is almost safe to say that the material is the new cork in some aspects. It is such a great material in that each pair is unique due to the grain of the wood (if you are dishing out the $ for real wood of course!) I have a pair with a wedge similar to what these Jimmy Choos are hosting. I especially love how the tri-tone, long sleek lines are at an angle so the shoe itself doesn’t look too bulky, which can easily happen with a heavier shoe like a wedge. So what do you think, are wooden shoes here to stay?
