Christian Louboutin: Rouge

I checked out Louboutin’s new polish when I was at Holt’s the other day. After seeing it up close I’ll say that I get it now, it really could be a big deal.

    • Canada misses you!
I know women over here are going absolutely nuts for the polish- I don’t know if I’ll try it but it sure is interesting that this is happening regardless.

    • I was pretty skeptical at first when this came out a few weeks ago but I got a better look at the polish itself the other day. The polish matches the soles of the Louboutin shoe exactly, to a tee. I guess some women have been looking for an exact match but I’m surprised nobody has found anything close before. The girl I spoke to also told me that women were fixing up the soles of their shoes with the polish- not sure how I feel about that one! Anyway, I’ll be interested to see how long this sticks around…

  1. Oooo. I saw those bottles at the store in Vegas (Caesars). But the sales associates weren’t terribly friendly so I wasn’t sure if they were the nail polish or not!

Do you know how much it is? I want a bottle for the soles of my shoes. Lol!! (I am not a red polish girl, except on my toes at Christmas)

    • Hey!! Funny you said that about the store in Caesars- I had a similar experience. Their loss because I would have cleaned them out.

The nail polish is selling for $50 up here. I’m not sure what it’d cost for you with the exchange rate and whatnot but it should be fairly close!

    • I just checked the Saks Fifth Avenue website, it is selling for $50USD as well.
I know it is also available at Sephora and I have a gut feeling Barneys might have it too. Probably anywhere you can buy a pair of Louboutins I’d imagine you would find it.
Let me know if you go for it! I’d love to see the results of it used on a pair of red soles!!!!
