Minimalism for all Seasons

One trend that I am absolutely loving, and not seeing nearly enough of this spring is the return of the peasant blouse. Now please don’t think eastern european, heavily embroidered and cupcake sleeves. I’m talking about those silky, wispy and romanticized white blouses that are light and would look really good with riding pants and chanel boots… riding on a horse in some field full of flowers… or something like that.

I just really love the look, and funnily enough, am not doing my job in contributing to the trend. This will have to change.

Seriously, they’re so perfect, and simple. Versatile, so at least we know that despite the investment required to own a truly stunning version of this shirt, we will get our full use. I read an article months ago at vogue.com about them and Lynn Yaeger couldn’t be more spot on. Click here to check it out.
